Fountain ideas (bad ones) Bad fountain ideas are things we have been asked to do, but..... Have water falling at random times from 5m high landing on "Small tuned copper plates" (We have been asked how to do this) in an existing outside water feature. What guarantee is there the water falling from 5m up will hit a small copper plate? (None) You could argue that is a problem for us to solve, but we do not design fountains, and the real problem is wind blowing the water off course. ------------------------------ A water feature with with an overflowing bowl. The centre of the bowl is raised for a nozzle to be installed. How are you going to drain the bowl for maintenance? ------------------------------ A solar fountain that works all night. (How can it work at night if its solar?, you can add batteries, but what will charge them? see our solar pumps page) ------------------------------ We had a request for a 3m high jet in a pool only 2m in diameter, read the jw rule to see why this is wrong. ------------------------------ |
