Cascade or geiser nozzle? what is the difference?

Although both jets are aerated the cascade nozzle gives a wider more violent jet.

		Here is a cascade and geiser nozzle in our test pool. Both nozzles are using the same capacity of pump.

		Here is a close up of the nozzles. The geiser nozzle is on the right

		The geiser nozzle has a lower water demand.

In the first picture we electronically reduced the running speed of the pump because of the high water demand of the cascade nozzle. When we increased the pump running speed you can clearly see the geiser nozzle jet can reach considerably higher even though they are both running on equivalent pumps.
