If your feature is heavy there is no problem with supporting it on bricks, but if you opt to do this the pump will have to be mounted to one side and a feed pipe connected to the pump. This means the pump is also easy to service If the height of the water jet exceeds the jw rule you can also use a liner in the sump with the liner covering the surrounding area, but do remember to slope it inwards
