Fountain Hire
Fountain hire, why not make yourself some money?
Let us start at the beginning, what is your idea of a
fountain?
Is it picture A or is it picture B?

This is Picture A |

This is Picture B |
Most people would say " picture A"
Well although it is a fountain, it is actually a fountain for a pond,
(even by "pond standards" it's big)
There are lots of suppliers of "pond fountains",
Exclusive Fountains specialise in "Commercial
fountains" and large fountain "projects" Picture B is what we would
call a fountain
Most people assume that to build a fountain you
buy "a pump" and attach "a nozzle" and put it in water
and that is all there is to it. But you have to know how high and wide
the jet is to be, in order to select the right pump, you also need to know
the pool size, to find out, is the requested nozzle pattern big enough or
too big. There are a whole host of similar questions that you need to know
in order to make the correct decisions, It is the decisions that determine
will the fountain work or will it soak every body and empty the pool.
But, back to YOU making money from
fountains.
We suggest that you start a fountain hire company. Why
not hire fountains for wedding receptions, barmiztvers or other
special events. (We know of a company that does do
this) and we will promote you.
You can not really "sell fountains on" unless you have the knowledge
of what will or more to the point, will not work together. We have
had enquiries from established companies, they seem
to be of the opinion making money from fountains is easy and simple, if it were that easy,
more people would be doing it. Good quality,
good looking fountains never come cheap, but they will last for years.
Below are some examples of "perceived costs" and the errors.
___________________________
Example 1, Garden make over
Take "Mr or Mrs
Average" for example. They have just had a garden make over , and forgot
about a fountain or water feature (Yes, there is a difference) they
usually want to spend around £100 and they want lights too.
The budget is far too small. (We
are a commercial fountain company, not a pond company)

Example 2, Secret project
We had an enquiry from a person who said "I want 100 nozzles for
my project" He gave us a budget of £800.
That sounds reasonable until you do the maths.
800 / 100 = 8
We assume the enquirer had just made up the figure of £800 without any
previous thought, as it soon became apparent to the enquirer
that £8 per nozzle was too little, realising his error, he gave up.

Example 3, Big
fountains
An E.U. based company
that wanted to "sell fountains on" We suggested they start at the
"low end" of the market and "work their way up". They sent us pictures taken from the internet of
various big fountains, asking "How much to duplicate
this" We told them, "This will be
expensive, why not start at the "low end" of the market?", but despite
this, they sent in several more similar pictures. Each time we told them
how much, and they replied saying "it is too expensive, can you not do it
cheaper?" That would be like making a pack of playing cards and
only making 26 instead of 52, (it's cheaper though)
They
had also not taken into consideration, if they did copy a fountain, who
were they going to sell it to? Since the owners of the copied fountain
will not want another one the same, and any one else will be getting a
copy. Often no two fountains are the same. (That
is why we are Exclusive Fountains) If only they had listened to our advice
in the first place, start at the lower end and work up, they didn't and
they gave up.

Example 4 "We know a bit"
We had an enquiry from a company who are "In the water industry"
(They sell very large pumps) and they
claimed "We know a bit about fountains" and the
person contacting us said that he wanted to "buy some
stuff and rig it up" (His words, not ours) it soon became apparent he knew
nothing about fountains and of how fountains work, he too soon gave up.
___________________________
Example 5 "Lets start"
From the outset the enquirer knew that it was going to cost around £10K
for a musical fountain, he asked lots of technical questions (That's a
good thing) when the questions stopped we asked why, he said it was
"Too expensive" Never heard from him
since. Why say its too expensive when you already know what its going to
cost? Really, please only enquire if you are very serious.

In general
We
tell you how it really is (for free), what you do next is your choice. Often its
the fact people really have no idea of what is involved, that makes them
give up. There really is more to fountains than it appears, but we are
willing to help you all the way.
If you really do want
to make money with fountains why not start a fountain hire company? We
only know of 3 companies that hire water fountains (not the drinking type)
none of them have a musical fountain like we supply, why not be the first? unlike some "musical"
fountains available ours have multiple channels not just 2,3 or 4
channels see the VIDEO
CLIP Or why not start by hiring out static fountains
or our colour changing jumping jets.
We will do our
best to help you all the way.
We here at Exclusive Fountains are
willing to help you all the way. There is a whole market out there
who would like a hire fountain for special events, weddings etc, We know
one company that charges £2,000 / day. We can not do it because of our
other commitments. (The fountains do not drive and then unload themselves)
So if you want to make money from
fountains, it is possible but think long and hard about it, then contact us, we are willing
and able to help you for free. Please only enquire if you are very serious
about it, it is not a "Five minute wonder"
Go on, ask.
