Pumpless water feature Pump less water feature? Sometimes you will see a wall spout running into a sump but no pump, this shows how it is done. As mentioned it has the advantage that you see no pump. The transfer pipe must be wide enough to cope with the pump flow rate. It works a bit like a sink over flow does, in that as the water level rises in the tank it then flows into the sump via the transfer pipe and is then pumped around again. |
