Solar pond pumps, how good are they?

		This is the temperature next to the solar panel We know that temperature has no relation but it is to show that it was taken on a nice sunny day.

As our pictures show, solar pumps are not that good and are not good value for money. (we could fill several pages with different brands of solar pumps, but it would be of no use) We can supply you with a mains operated pump for about 1/6 the cost of one of our high quality solar pumps. (This is not one of our solar pumps we are showing) It is also worth noting that in our test pool above one of the jets got blocked by a miniscule piece of grass that got blown into the pool, which is not surprising as each jet is only 0.5mm.
