We often get asked will this pump work with

The Nozzle
You want a j63 burst nozzle
To reach a jet height of 3m (10 feet) the j63
burst
nozzle requires 90 LPM (at 3m)
Missing
How high do you want the water jet to be. This is
important because if the pump is too small you will never achieve the
required jet height.
Each nozzle has a water demand is your pump up to the task? Each pump has
a flow graph Below is a typical flow graph

From the graph we see that at 14 feet head, the pump
will supply 25 litres / minute
From the graph we also see that at 1 foot head the pump
will supply 120 litres / minute
So you can see that although the maximum flow of the
pump is 120 LPM at 10 feet the flow rate is only 60 LPM, which is 30
LPM short of what is required, and as you can not turn a small pump up,
the pump is not suitable for this jet at this height. But without the flow
graph you would not know that. But we always check the pump flow graph
when selecting a pump for you.
It is also similar for "your nozzle and our pump"
Please note: All the names and figures we made up for
illustration purposes only, but the principal is true. This is also only
the basic principal of what is involved.
